Veggie Trails (The Untold Story)
- Level: High School
- Topic: Physical Science
Description:
The purpose of this activity is to understand the concepts of acid-base reactions, neutralization and molarity. The lab will be introduced with a series of test tubes showing the different colors red cabbage juice has for different pH values. Prior to this inquiry-based experiment, students have performed respiratory experiments using bromthymol blue, litmus paper, and pH paper as indicators. This experiment can be used for high school chemistry and physiology classes.
