Local Outreach Teams
Local Outreach Teams (LOTs), a subset are known as
Local Site Teams (LSTs), are the grassroots arm of the Frontiers in Physiology program. LOTs disseminate Frontiers materials and resources to middle and high school life science teachers via in-service workshops and build connections between physiology researchers and local teachers and schools. Each LOT includes research physiologists, local K-12 teachers, and often, representatives from the local school system.

who can serve on a LOT team, what responsibilities must be taken by the team leader and members of the LOT team, and what
resources are available. For some examples of LOT teams, see
Current LOTs for some inspiration.
